Anti-Bacterial Wire Shelving - 4 Shelf Levels - 915mm Wide x 305mm Deep feature an epoxy anti-bacterial coating that fights against the build-up of germs and improves hygiene standards. These anti-corrosive wire shelving units are ideal for use in catering, medicine, food handing and preparation, cold stores, cold rooms and walk-in freezers, and damp or corrosive environments.

• Boltless construction method allows quick and simple assembly
• Open wire design offers improved light penetration and better air circulation
• Mild steel coated with zinc substrate then coated with outer layer of polyester powder resin that is hard baked for a heard-wearing corrosion resistant finish
• Antibacterial additive used in manufactruing process helps fight the build up of germs and bacteria for up to 10 years - tested to show 99% growth reduction in E.coli and Staphylococcus aureus

Manufacturing Process

Mild steel is washed and coated with Zinc substrate for extra protection, then coated with polyester powder resin which is hard baked to form a hard wearing corrosion resistant finish that is guaranteed for up to 10 years. This process is applied to shelves and posts to provide all-round protection and lasts 5 times longer than nylon coating.

Antibacterial Coating

SGS laboratories tested to confirm that manufacturing process has antibacterial effect; tests showed 99% growth retardation of E.coli and Staphylococcus aureus. Fights bacteria for up to 10 years.
